In a spectacular action, Gruber Logistics transported a decommissioned Airbus A310 from Hanover Airport to Serengeti Park Hodenhagen at the end of October 2025. Special BPW axles were used for this demanding transport, which made it possible to move the large aircraft safely and efficiently. In three night shifts and with great precision, the team covered a 51.4-kilometre route that led through a sensitive nature reserve. In order to avoid damage to nature, trees were carefully secured in advance and numerous traffic facilities were dismantled. Supported by experienced drivers and specialists, the transport aircraft was brought safely to its new destination. From summer 2026, the historic aircraft will welcome guests as an extraordinary restaurant in the Serengeti Park and inspire visitors as a new highlight. // Image source: GRUBER Logistics
